2020: Logan Foster sat out the 2020 season after transferring to Nebraska from Texas A&M.
Before Nebraska: Foster transferred to Nebraska from Texas A&M, where he spent his first three years of college baseball • Started 157 of his 168 games as an Aggie and compiled a .285 career batting average with 172 hits, 107 runs scored, 33 doubles, nine triples, 19 home runs, 101 RBIs and 11 stolen bases • Also slugged .464 and had a .357 on-base percentage for his career • In 2019, he batted .263 with 56 hits, 36 runs scored, 37 RBIs, 10 doubles, one triple and five home runs in 58 starts • In 2018, he hit .314 in 58 games (55 starts) with 64 hits, 38 runs scored, 10 doubles, four triples, 40 RBIs and a team-high eight home runs • Earned NCAA Austin Regional All-Tournament Team honors after going 6-for-13 during those three games • In 2017, he captured Freshman All-America accolades from Collegiate Baseball and claimed a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team • Hit .280 in 52 games (44 starts) as a freshman with 33 runs, 13 doubles, four triples, six home runs and 24 RBIs • Attended Lincoln Southwest High School, where he played under Coach Doug Kaltenberger • Earned first-team All-Nebraska and Super-State honors on two occasions and achieved all-conference status three times • As a senior, hit .452 with eight doubles, four triples, seven home runs and 32 RBIs to help the Silver Hawks to a third-place finish at the state tournament • As a junior, batted .422 with eight doubles, five triples, one home run and 26 RBIs as Southwest finished third at the state tournament • As a sophomore, captured second-team All-Nebraska and Super-State accolades while batting .391 • An honor roll student, he also lettered for the track and field team.
Joe Bechtle
Assistant Coach
After Graduating from Lincoln Southwest in 2013 Joe started his coaching career with the Lincoln Rebels. He coached with the Lincoln Rebels for seven years (2016-2022) beginning with 8U and following the team up to 14U. Of the seven years with the Rebels, Joe was the head coach for 5 years (10U-14U). After finishing with the Rebels in 2022, Joe was invited to be the head coach of the Midwest Commits 16U team in 2023 where he will now assist with the 18U team for the 2024 season.
Jaden Johnson
Assistant Coach
Originally from Grand Island, Nebraska Jaden was a 3x varsity baseball starter where in 2013 he hit .375 with 10 doubles, 3 triples, 51 runs scored, and 17 RBIs while receiving MVP honors for Home Federal and was selected to play in the Cornhusker League All-Star game.
In 2018 Jaden started coaching with the Lincoln Rebels travel baseball organization and stayed with the same group from 10 years old until they were 14 and heading into high school. Throughout that time the team improved from an AAA team to their last year they went 30-7 winning 4 tournaments and finishing 3rd in Major’s State.

Ty Roseberry

2020: Ty Roseberry played in 12 of 15 games before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic • Started 10 games at first base • Batted .211 (8-for-38) with one home run, five runs scored and three RBIs • Started the season with back-to-back multi-hit games, going 5-for-12 with five runs scored and three RBIs during the three-game Baylor series (Feb. 14-16) • Homered during the Feb. 15 game against the Bears as part of a 2-for-4 performance.
2019: After sitting out each of the first 22 games, Roseberry played in 14 of the last 34 games, including three starts • Went 5-for-20 on the season with one home run, five hits, four runs scored and one RBI • Went 1-for-1 in his Husker debut on April 2 at Kansas State • Slugged a home run on April 6 against Purdue in his third game as a Husker • Added one hit against Creighton (April 9), Iowa (April 20) and Michigan (May 25).
Before Nebraska: Roseberry spent two seasons at Nebraska-Kearney playing under Coach Damon Day before transferring to Nebraska • In 2018, he led the conference in home runs (15) en route to third-team all-conference honors at first base • Batted .340 with 11 doubles and 44 RBIs in 2018 after starting as a true freshman in 2017 • Graduated from Kearney High School in 2016, where he played baseball under Coach Brad Archer • A three-year varsity starter, he hit .450 with 12 home runs over that span • Four-year honor roll member • Earned three letters in football and two letters in basketball.
